What is the lifespan of a pigment?

Vanita Cosmetik pigments have a shelf life of 6 to 12 months, once opened.

What ingredients is a pigment made from?

All Vanita Cosmetik pigments are designed with 3 basic ingredients: isopropyl alcohol, distilled water and glycerin.

What is the difference between an organic pigment and a plant pigment?

We recognize a plant pigment by its more liquid texture, its more vivid colors and their ease of implantation. Unlike an organic pigment which has a thicker texture, dries faster and offers several color choices.

Is it mandatory to add a corrector to my initial mixture?

The Vanita Cosmetik line of pigments is designed not to be mixed with a concealer on the first appointment. On the other hand, there is always the rule of the skin tone to respect so as not to cancel the final result once the healing is complete.

Can we mix pigments from different companies?

No, it is not recommended to do this since the components are different from one company to another.

Is it possible to have an allergic reaction to a pigment?

There may still be a risk of allergy, but it is low. We suggest that you always check your client's health. If you have any concerns, do an allergy test on your client's skin before treatment.

- Determine if your client's complexion is warm / cold or neutral

- Determine your client's fitzpatrick between 1 to 6

- Choose a pigment color opposite to the skin tone

- It is possible to add an accent color to your base mixture with the following amount;
2 color pumps for 1 accent pump (your color + darken)
never mix two colors equally if you use a corrector
you must add it to your color mixture by adding 1 pump

Pigment retention can vary from 30 to 50% after complete healing.
It also depends on the degree of implantation and the region being treated

It varies from 6 to 24 months depending on the care provided. Once opened it can be kept for up to 12 months.
Avoid any temperature difference (too hot or too cold). Store at room temperature between 18 and 20 degrees.
Vanita Cosmetik's pigment is bottled in accordance with Health Canada hygiene and safety standards.
The bottle is designed and fitted with an airless pump system thus minimizing losses and dryness of the pigment.

Thanks to the Vanita Cosmetik display you will quickly find the name of the pigment color from the label placed on the cap of each pigment during bottling. In addition to seeing the name of the pigment, you will have all the information in the color chart for it.
